Salvinia Minima is one of our favorite floating plants, great for edges or around tall marginals. A great mat of this plant can form and become a base for emerging frogs and toads as seen. Barely the size a a cuticle on your little finger the rosettes multiple and clump just like azolla but here in a round fashion. Turtles and koi can sometimes eat this plant. Not overly fast growing so it is usually easy to maintain. Can get caught in strong pulling skimmers. Species: Salvinia Minima.
